Introduction

Gaynor Jarrett is a tutor at Lauder College. She is involved with Employability, Enterprise and Citizenship and delivers employability sessions with all the students in the college.

Gaynor is currently coordinating the 'June Start Exit' programme which focuses on young learners who have come from local high schools to complete their studies at the college.  The programme pulls together a number of skills such as teamwork, job sourcing sessions as well as I.T. and communication skills.

Gaynor remarks that the ‘Creating Digital or e-Portfolios’ course has been extremely successful. She is particularly impressed by the way young learners have engaged with modern technology such as digital video cameras and mobile phones to create their personal e-portfolios – a great success!
